UBER EATS AND DOOR DASH ARE HEADED DOWNHILL

Have you witnessed some of the low-lifes that these organizations hire?  I'm not talking about all of them, just the ones that get featured on viral videos, such as this one:

Unfortunately, you don't need to look far for people this stupid.  I blame the parents, politicians, bureaucrats and public educators. They are the ones who seed the fields, though I'm generalizing a bit.  

How many of these misfit offspring are out there?  I don't know.  Nor do I know anyone who keeps up with such statistics.  I'm just saying that I'm not taking the chance to have my food delivered, unless it's pizza.

I'm 73 years old.  Back in the day, I would take care of this business myself.  After a broken jaw bone and a few loose teeth, they could take the food home (at my expense) and try to eat it before mold sets in.  Fortunately, I chose a different lifestyle.  I never would have made it in law enforcement.  I lack their patience.

These days, it's not likely that I would win, even against a chunky young girl like the one linked above.  That's why I drive to the grocery store rather than face one of these young brats when supper-time comes.  Still, I'm up for the challenge.  That's stupid, right?

I hate to admit it, but I'm being honest.  I still go to the gym and work out, but I'm not sure my heart can handle the rush of adrenaline that would be needed.  I like to think it would be easy -- a hard push, an uppercut or right cross if needed -- but I lack that desire to do such things.  But what if I did, and what if it wasn't enough?  I'm too old to waste the energy.  Dying on the front porch with a heart attack isn't my preferred way of going out.

What environment was this girl raised in?  Did I miss the memo?  Or a police bulletin?  Who taught her how to act in public?
